2012 Integrated Medical, Public Health, Preparedness and Response Training Summit Abstract Submission Site
The 2012 ITS Planning Committee is no longer accepting abstracts for session or workshop consideration. Poster session abstracts will continue to be accepted until March 16, 2012 or when capacity is met.
The 2012 Integrated Medical, Public Health, Preparedness and Response Training Summit is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This training summit brings together HHS partners including the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS), the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), the Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals (ESAR-VHP), and the United States Public Health Service (USPHS). The Integrated Training Summit is co-sponsored by the Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc.
If you are currently enrolled as a student at a University or are a non Federal government employee, and your session/workshop abstract is accepted as part of the 2012 Integrated Training Summit, the cost of your travel, hotel (1 night) and per diem (2 days) will be funded by the ITS (this excludes poster submissions). Should you be considered for multiple days of instruction, additional funding will be provided. For additional information about funding support, please email your question to HHSTS@chepinc.org.
The 2012 Integrated Training Summit will be taking place May 21-25, 2012 at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN.
